About Me

Hi, I'm an orchid hobbyist who went a little overboard and decided to monetize my knowledge and passion for these plants. I started growing orchids when I was 6 here in Southern California and has culminated in now over 20 years of growing experience. Over the course of those years, I've culminated a rolodex of relationships with growers all over the world and I am currently on my way to become an accredited American Orchid Society judge.

My personal collection now spans about 350+ species and has expanded to include epiphytic ferns, ant plants, and neotropical blueberries. Basically an almost all epiphyte collection. Because my entire experience has been growing in the home environment or under lights, my collection and sales specialize in species that can adapt to the dry, hot climate of the home that is becoming even more prevalent these days. Notable specialties include multifloral Paphiopedilums, species Cattleyas, and ant associated ferns. In addition, I have been experimenting around with adapting cooler growing plants to my climate, succeeding with most neotropical blueberries and Nepenthes edwardsiana.

If you're looking for line bred top shelf warm growing orchids or warmth tolerant lines of traditionally cool growing species, you've come to the right place. Have fun perusing the store!
